Six people injured after being ejected and trapped in East Busway, Pennsylvania vehicle crash

Port Authority Police responded to a single-vehicle crash on the East Busway in Pittsburgh, near the Federal Building at approximately 3:45 a.m. Sunday, March 29.

The incident involved six occupants. According to Port Authority Police, five individuals were ejected from the vehicle during the collision. One person remained entrapped inside the wreckage.

Port Authority Officers extracted the entrapped passenger and provided medical aid to all involved individuals until City of Pittsburgh EMS and Rescue units arrived at the scene.

Authorities stated that injuries ranged from stable to several critical at the time of the incident.

All individuals involved in the crash have been identified. The incident remains under active investigation.
