Former WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer lost her championship to Liv Morgan at WWE Money in the Bank 2026 PLE. Last week on Saturday, Oct.10, 2026, Vaquer defended her title against Becky Lynch and Morgan at the PLE. However, in the closing moments of the bout, Morgan secured the victory and won the title from Vaquer.
On this week’s Monday Night RAW, Byron Saxton spoke to Stephanie Vaquer backstage regarding her ankle injury. Vaquer was spotted on crutches during her backstage segment. However, despite using crutches, Vaquer assured her rival Becky Lynch that she’ll be fine in “a few days.” However, as of now, no official confirmation has been received regarding Vaquer’s injury details or her return timeline.

A few months ago, Vaquer had returned from a serious injury that kept her away from in-ring action. Shortly after her return, Vaquer defeated Liv Morgan at a WWE Live Event in her home country of Chile.
Stephanie Vaquer underwent surgery during her WWE injury absence
Last month in Sept. 2026, Vaquer spoke to Rueda en el Ring, where she revealed undergoing surgery during her time away from the promotion. “It was very difficult because coming out of surgery and having to wait without training, that was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life. Not being active in my training, but I when I returned to the ring, and I stepped back into a ring felt like coming back to life for me.
“It was a needed break for the sake of my health, but I am back better than ever, and I’m going to keep going just as always disciplined in my training and showing what I’m made of,” Vaquer said
