The Houston Texans got their first win of the season on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans, but may be without running back David Montgomery for a couple of weeks due to a groin injury.

The Houston Texans needed a road win against the Titans on Sunday and left Nashville with a 26-3 victory, but it came at the expense of their running back room. In the first half, Texans running back David Montgomery left with what the team called a groin injury and did not return.

Afterward, head coach DeMeco Ryans would provide an update, saying, “We’re still evaluating David [Montgomery]. He has a groin injury and may miss some time.”

More information will be available throughout the week as imaging and testing are completed with Montgomery. If he can’t go for any period of time, Woody Marks will likely get the bulk of his carries for the Texans.
