Sunday’s win over the Raiders was the fourth game that Patriots wide receiver A.J. Brown has missed with the ankle injury he suffered in Week 1 and that means he is now eligible to come off of injured reserve and return to action.
Head coach Mike Vrabel was asked at a Monday press conference if he believes that will happen ahead of New England’s home date with the Jets in Week 6. Vrabel didn’t commit to any course of action in his response.
“There’s a chance,” Vrabel said, via multiple reporters.

The Patriots had two underwhelming offensive outings without Brown, but they’ve righted the ship with better performances in wins over the Bills and Raiders the last two weeks. While that won’t lessen the desire to see Brown back on the field as soon as possible, it does make the prospect of another game without him less dire than it felt in late September.
