Travis Kelce showed love to his hometown Cleveland Guardians after they made it to the American League Championship Series.

The Cleveland Guardians pulled off a spectacular comeback against the Chicago White Sox in the ALDS. After they went down 0-2, they won two games on the road and then booked their berth for the ALCS with a surgical victory in Game 5.

This is the second time in the last three seasons the team has made it this far in the postseason. They lost 4-1 against the New York Yankees in 2024, but they will face the Tampa Bay Rays this time. Naturally, fans are loving this, and that includes a very happy three-time NFL champion.

Travis Kelce tells Cleveland Guardians ‘you just have to believe’

Legendary tight end Travis Kelce is a lifelong fan, having been born and raised in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, just six miles away from downtown Cleveland. As a huge fan, he was present at Game 5 of the ALDS when the Guardians secured their berth.

Following the win, the Kansas City Chiefs star was asked about what he thinks of the moment. His reply was electric, and his happiness with the situation was quite evident.

“C’mon, baby! Ay, Cleveland is the reason, baby!” Kelce said. “You just gotta believe, baby. Just gotta believe. ALCS, you know what time it is.”

This is shaping up to be a spectacular year for Kelce. Patrick Mahomes is back and the undefeated Chiefs are flying. He got married to Taylor Swift over the summer, too. If the Guardians can somehow make the World Series and win, then it will be more proof that this is Travis’ world and everyone else is just living in it.
