The 46th annual ARP Dirt Track World Championship will return to West Virginia Motor Speedway this weekend, serving as a finale to the Late Model Dirt Series season.

The Dirt Track World Championship is returning to West Virginia for the first time since 2010, though much has changed since then. The weekend will get started with twin 25-lap qualifiers prior to Sunday’s 100-lap event, with the ultimate payout of $100,000 — the most lucrative in track history.

Heading into the weekend, Brandon Sheppard holds a narrow 45-point lead over defending champion Devin Moran. Hudson O’Neal and Ricky Thornton Jr. follow closely behind in the standings.
