Manager Pat Murphy and the Milwaukee Brewers are headed to the World Series.
The Brewers advanced to Fall Classic after sweeping the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 4 of the National League Championship Series on Thursday, Oct. 15.
Jake Bauers was named the NLCS MVP after posting an .412 on-base percentage with a home run and six RBIs in four games, including two epic game-changing at-bats.
Milwaukee became the first team in MLB history to sweep a team in the postseason after being swept by the same team the previous year. The Brewers are now just four wins away from winning a title for the franchise.

Brewers last World Series appearance
Brewers have not played in the World Series since losing Game 7 to the St. Louis Cardinals in 1982.
Then playing in the American League. Brewers dropped the last two games in that series to fall short in the title series.
Did the Brewers ever win a World Series?
The Brewers have not won a World Series in its history. Milwaukee is one of five teams that haven’t won a World Series in MLB history.
