Three big college football games will kick off this Friday night, starting with Tulane hosting Memphis at 7:30 PM ET. Two games will follow at 8:00 PM ET: Purdue will host Washington, and Coastal Carolina will host Appalachian State.
Stokes has been exceptional for the Tigers in his first season playing quarterback. He’ll be up against a Tulane defense that allowed over 224.5 passing yards to three straight quarterbacks before getting run over by the Army Black Knights last week.
Bonner ranks second on the Huskies in carries (51), behind quarterback Demond Williams (64). Williams isn’t expected to suit up on Friday night, so I expect Bonner to carry the offense.
Bailey completed 8 of 18 passes for 73 yards in Coastal’s 27-21 road win over Marshall last week, marking their first FBS win this season. Bailey wasn’t the only quarterback to struggle through poor weather last week, but he might be asked to hand the ball off several more times per game regardless.
