Donovan Atwell has received a preliminary injunction in Lubbock’s 72nd District Court to be eligible to play for the Texas Tech basketball team this season.
Judge John Grace ruled from the bench after closing arguments ended a nearly six-hour hearing.
Atwell was previously eligible under a temporary restraining order.
This is a developing story and will be updated.
