Insider adds smoke to trade speculation around Vikings' Jauan Jennings

Jauan Jennings is off to a bizarrely quiet start to his Vikings career after signing as a free agent this spring. Cameras caught his frustration boiling over on the sideline during Sunday’s game in New Orleans. After signing Odell Beckham Jr. last week, the Vikings worked out a few more wide receivers this week, including JuJu Smith-Schuster.

If all of that wasn’t enough to raise some eyebrows and get people wondering about the possibility of Jennings being traded, a new report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport should do it.

“You’re gonna see a lot of trade conversations now going on around the league,” Rapoport said on The Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday. “Some teams are hitting byes, some teams maybe need a little more.

“I would say a name that I’ve been wondering about is Jauan Jennings. He’s with the Minnesota Vikings, had like two catches. Came over from the 49ers. I expect his name to heat up a little bit over the next probably couple days and weeks. The 49ers lost Deebo (Samuel) for a couple weeks, too, so they make sense. That would be a name for me to keep an eye on over the next little bit.”
