Man, 26, charged in deadly downtown shooting near River Walk
Though Walker had been at Richland only a short time, he had made a positive impact on the school community as a member of the junior varsity football team, district officials said.
Birdville ISD said grief counselors would be available at the school for students and staff. The district is also providing specialized support to Walker’s family and teammates.
