After a close, but tough game Sunday against the 49ers, the Seahawks have a short week to brush off the loss and prepare for a scrappy Denver Broncos team.
Zach Charbonnet continues his journey back to playing after tearing his ACL last season. Charbonnet was listed as a limited participant at practice Monday, but don’t expect him to play Thursday.
In a press conference Monday, Mike Macdonald indicated that they are not ready to activate the veteran Seahawk.
“We have to have consensus from all parties that he’s ready to go,” Macdonald said. “That he’s the most confident and ready to go, that he’s had enough exposure to play an NFL game.”

The other notable name listed on Monday’s report is Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Smith-Njigba, who appeared to be dealing with an ankle injury during Sunday’s game, was listed as a limited participant at Monday’s light practice with a confirmed ankle injury.
Backup quarterback Drew Lock and rookie guard Beau Stephens also practiced Monday in a limited capacity. Lock is dealing with a right forearm injury, while Stephens has a shoulder injury.
On the defense, linebackers Chazz Surratt and Drake Thomas did not practice Monday. Surratt has been dealing with a calf injury, but Thomas’ ankle injury appears to have started during Sunday’s game. Thomas left the game early Sunday and did not return.
Thomas is a steady force on the Seahawks’ defense, and his absence could have a big impact on a defense that is steadily getting better each game.
Leonard Williams was a limited participant Monday, as well. Williams continues to deal with an ankle injury he suffered during the Chargers game Oct. 4.
The Seahawks face the Broncos Thursday, Oct. 15, in Denver. Kickoff is set for 5:15 p.m.
