The Baltimore Ravens were able to overcome a fourth-quarter deficit and emerge victorious in overtime against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football. Tyler Huntley stepped in for the injured Lamar Jackson and performed admirably, capping a productive night by plunging in for what proved to be the game-winning score.

It was a tremendously important win for the Ravens as they were able to maintain first place in the AFC North. Considering the Falcons’ recent run of good play during their primetime showcase tour, going on the road and notching a win was not the easiest task.

Baltimore was a significant favorite on the look-ahead line but found themselves playing as three-point underdogs at kickoff. That’s what happens when Jackson is sidelined and people aren’t entirely sure what Jesse Minter’s team is all about. It won’t go down as the most imprssive victory of the year for the Ravens but should still be noted as an example of what they are capable of even with a capable backup under center.

Derrick Henry, who rushed for 102 yards on the ground and added an 18-yard touchdown reception on Sunday, couldn’t help but notice that some of the media members covering the game picked the Falcons to prevail.

And that’s something he took, well, sort of personally.

Here’s Henry talking his talk after the triumph, which is perfectly understandable.

On the sliding scale of athletes perceiving disrespect in the pregame lead-up, this is incredibly tame. Some people thought the Ravens would lose as they were the underdog. To be entirely fair, Baltimore did come very close to losing multiple times before coming up with every play they needed.

Henry earned his right to savor the moment and if the Ravens want to buy into the plucky underdog character, perhaps that’s exactly what they need. It’s just not really that wild of a thought to think the Falcons were going to take care of business. But don’t let that get in the way of a good “told ya so.”
