The New York Islanders look to keep rolling at home as they host the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday.
It’s too early in the season for trends, but the Isles have dropped both of their road games while winning their two previous home games by a combined 10-1, so they’ll be happy to stay in the friendly confines of UBS Arena and welcome the Bolts to town.
New York got a pair of goals from captain Bo Horvat in Thursday’s 4-1 win over the Blackhawks, running his total to five on the young season.
The Lightning also won Thursday, holding off the Wild 3-2 behind John Carlson’s first two goals since arriving in Tampa. That was the Bolts’ third straight win, all of them at home, since they opened the season with a loss at the Rangers.
