The Milwaukee Brewers are getting ready for Game 1 of the NLCS against the Los Angeles Dodgers, and everything has been dissected to a fine powder. While we know all the statistics and roster moves heading into Game 1, there was one thing that was still in question: who would be throwing the ceremonial first pitch at American Family Field for Games 1 and 2 of the series? We now have an answer to this burning question in everybody’s minds, but which Milwaukee legends will be starting the game off?

On 620 WTMJ, Milwaukee Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger made it known that two Brewers legends will be throwing the ceremonial first pitch for the first two games of the NLCS against the Los Angeles Dodgers. For Game 1, Ben Sheets will get the honors and in Game 2, Mike Moustakas will get the game started.
Sheets spent the first eight years of his MLB career with the Brew Crew, going 86-83 with a 3.72 ERA and made four National League All-Star teams. Moustakas spent two years with the franchise after being traded at the 2018 deadline from the Kansas City Royals. In 2019, he would make the All-Star team.
