Jaguars vs. Eagles: How to Watch Week 5

Tomorrow, the Jacksonville Jaguars (3-1) will take on the Philadelphia Eagles (2-2) in Week 5.

The Birds are struggling to get off the ground this season. Part of that is due to some easy-to-predict shortcomings — after all, they did lose an All-Pro playmaker and a Hall of Fame coach during the offseason — but the Eagles are now without offensive linemen Lane Johnson (retirement) and Cam Jurgens (trade), not to mention a slew of other star offensive players, including Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith (injuries).

Philadelphia’s offense went 0/12 on 3rd downs last week. Their defense hasn’t been good enough to carry them. It doesn’t look good for the reigning NFC North champs.

Don’t expect the Jaguars to play around with their food, though.

“It is about us,” Liam Coen said this week. “It’s about our execution, our game plan, our fundamentals, technique, communication. Nick Sirianni does a great job. This team, this group won a Super Bowl a few years ago. They know how to handle adversity. They know how to handle some of these things. They’ve had a ton of guys play and help them win over the course of the last few years. I know they’ll be ready to play, that’s for sure. And it’s really got to be about us. I mean, that’s something that we continue to talk about as a team.”
