Ahead of Leeds United’s Premier League meeting with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, the club would like to issue supporters an important update regarding London’s tube service.
As of 10am on Friday 9 October, Transport for London (TfL) has issued the following update:
“ARSENAL STATION: Arsenal station is closed due to infrastructure damage within the station. We are assessing the problem and will work to reopen the station as quickly as possible. While this station is closed, you are advised to use local buses and alternative nearby stations including Finsbury Park, Holloway Road or Highbury & Islington.”
Due to the closure, fans are urged to visit the Transport for London website in order to make alternative travel arrangements that ensure a timely arrival at the Emirates Stadium or surrounding areas.
