Vancouver is coming off a 3-2 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights and has alternated wins and losses through its first four games. Paul Cotter and Elias Pettersson have each recorded six points, with Cotter scoring four goals and Pettersson contributing two goals and four assists. The Canucks have generated plenty of offense early, but they have also allowed an NHL-worst 18 goals through four games. Vancouver now begins a six-game road trip with a difficult matchup against the defending Stanley Cup champions.
Carolina has won two straight after beating the Montreal Canadiens 6-4 on Tuesday night. The Hurricanes rallied after allowing three first-period goals and improved to 2-1-1, with Sebastian Aho continuing to lead the attack. Pyotr Kochetkov is expected to return to the net after stopping 16 of 18 shots in an overtime win over Philadelphia in his season debut.
This is a great NHL matchup that you will not want to miss; make sure to tune in and catch all the action.
