France legend and current national team manager, Zinédine Zidane, is impressed with Bayern Munich star and France international, Michael Olise. Between UEFA Nations League matches in this international window, Zidane spoke to the media and commented on Olise’s antics on and off the field.
Zizou, speaking to French media outlet Téléfoot (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), had this to say about Olise: “He’s a bit reserved and shy off the pitch, but that’s fine because on the pitch he’s not shy at all – he’s a natural leader with his game. He’s showing all his talent with the ball. He has established himself here for a while and is doing very well at his club.”
In three matches with France this window, Olise scored a goal in two of the matches and recorded an assist in the other. Since the beginning of this season, Olise has had a goal or an assist in all but two matches played for club and country in all competitions. France will host Belgium on Monday before Olise heads back to Bayern for a return to club play.
