The Golden State Warriors begin their preseason Sunday, Oct. 4, against the Los Angeles Clippers, their first game of a six-game preseason. As expected, the Warriors will be without Jimmy Butler III and Moses Moody, who saw their 2025-26 seasons end prematurely due to injury. Kristaps Porzingis is not expected to be available either due to an illness.
As for the Clippers, they’ll be shorthanded as well. According to Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN, Los Angeles will be without second-year guard Kobe Sanders, who is sidelined with a hip impingement. Yanic Konan Niederhauser, Brandon Ingram, and Jordan Miller will also be unavailable. Bradley Beal’s status is unknown, as the veteran guard is currently listed as day-to-day with a knee injury.
Following their matchup against the Clippers in Hawaii, Golden State will play against the Lakers and Trail Blazers twice and will also play the Sacramento Kings once. Their regular season opener will take place Oct. 21 on the road against the Lakers.
